Holy Tricky Dick Batman!

As the scene opens in the Bat Cave with the Caped Crusaders, Batman and Robin...

Robin: Holy Tricky Dick Batman! I just read a news flash that says the F.B.I. sought out 3,051 financial, telephone and internet records on U.S. Citizens without a court order! What happened to The Constitution Batman? I thought the F.B.I. and the Federal government were on our side?
I thought everyone in governmental service took a solemn oath to protect and defend The Constitution and the country?

Batman: I wondered about that too Old Chum when I saw the news on the Bat Laptop this morning. It almost sounds like someone is using Federal Government resources to research an enemies list and monitor them, in addition to running down real terrorist. It sounds like a fiendish plot worthy of The Riddler, The Joker, or Richard Nixon!

Robin: But we defeated those losers. The villians behind this caper are far worse because they look like the good guys. How can we defeat such evil Batman?

Batman: I think we have to get help from the only force that can defeat this evil that makes a mockery of the principles our country was founded on.

Robin: Who, The Justice League?

Batman: No, a group far more powerful, We The People. Only through the ballot box can these villians be stopped. The Founding Fathers gave us better tools to use than those in our utility belts. The gave us the freedom of speech, a free press, the right to assembly and the right to vote. Only with these tools can evil be defeated and our Great Republic be restored!

Robin: I hope we are successful Batman!

Batman: I do too Robin, for America's sake, I do too!

Announcer: Will The Caped Crusaders be joined by We The People and deal a mighty blow to those who want to destroy the Country and make the Constituition worthless?

Will Ordinary Americans deal a blow to the fiendish plot of the evil ones that lurk in Washington?

And will the seventy five percent of apathetic Americans that don't vote come off the sidelines and help strike a blow for Freedom and Lady Liberty in November 2006?

Stay Tuned...Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel!

My favorite bumper sticker of all time said the following...

I Love My Country, But I Fear My Government

I have personally witnessed the misuse of governmental authority against myself and against others.

Absolute power truly corrupts absolutly!

America has gone from the world's policeman to the globe's garbageman, in my opinion.

It is time to turn the tide.

The Culture of Corruption in our Federal and State Houses needs to be replaced with a new counter culture movement. A movement that takes the country from corruption to credibility, from influence peddling to providing a positive influence, away from oppressive government and towards progressive reform.

Can we go back to truth, justice and the American Way?

Hey guys. Remember, we are a nation of laws, for crying out loud!
